Who is this man
With Grandma's accent,
An A-Z in the pocket
Of his second-hand slacks?
Who is this woman
Wearing high-waisted trousers,
Outside their tiny house,
With the wind in her hair?
Who took this last picture,
After the wedding,
Their faces turned away
As closed as tombs?
They stand together,
His Oxfam suit rigid.
She wears a white dress,
And the cake is cut.
